Dr. Adam Meredith

Adam is the Director and Founder of Spine and Health.

Adam was born in Adelaide, South Australia in 1971.

He graduated in 1996 with a Degree in Human Anatomy and Physiology.

Dr. Meredith moved to Sydney and completed his Masters in Chiropractic in 1998.

In 2001 he was accepted to be a University Lecturer and Clinic

Supervisor at Macquarie University, Sydney.

He now owns 2 Chiropractic Businesses, as well as an Xray and Bone densitometry business.

After graduating Adam worked under the guidance of his Mentor Dr. Philipson (Chiropractor, Adam’s University Lecturer and author of Chiropractic technique books) Dr. Meredith then started his own practice in 2001 in North Sydney.

Although he was busy and had other chiropractors  working for him in his first year, Adam was frustrated by a percentage of clients that kept relapsing. He was also frustrated with his own battle with lower back pain after breaking his back in a water skiing accident.

In 2004 Dr. Meredith was introduced to Postural Therapy which revolutionised the way he approached spinal pain.

Dr. Meredith now manages his clinics and is passionate about sharing Postural Therapy to all health care practitioners.

Bailey - Spine and Health Mascot

Bailey the Boston Terrier applied for the position of Spine and Health Mascot in 2011. There was stiff competition from other entrants including the local cat, a goldfish and a multitude of small fluffy white dogs.

Baileys love of patients, his PhD ( Puppy Has Dopey eyes ) from the university of Boston, and unusually good bladder control meant Bailey was a shoe in!

In his spare time Bailey likes sleeping, eating, walks in the park and dog bottom sniffing. Bailey is an adrenaline junky, just like his dad, Dr. Adam Meredith,

Bailey would love to go sky diving, water skiing and kite surfing when he is big enough. At the moment he is training for his adrenaline lifestyle by playing catch in the park (turbo style), tackling large dogs, and stealing food from picnic hampers!

Next time you see him at Spine & Health be sure to say hi and give him a pat!
